Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. The Accounts Assistant will be helping the existing team with the day to day running of a very busy accounts department. The role is varied and requires someone who thrives on being busy and who is willing to be flexible and adaptable in approach in order to provide a good service for colleagues, management and clients alike.


Your key responsibilities will be to maintain the sales ledger from a variety of data bases to and monitor all jobs to ensure all are invoiced, as well as maintaining the purchase ledger. Additional duties include credit chasing and dealing with customer and supplier queries.


You must have a good knowledge of Sage Line 50, Excel and double entry book-keeping.  Knowledge of Sage Payroll would be an advantage. A certificate in computerised book-keeping or equivalent or a high level of experience in computerised double entry book-keeping is required as is a sound knowledge of all accounting and office procedures.
